| How To Enroll In The Advanced Course |
All applicants for the Advanced Professional
Makeup Course must be accepted by me before they can be enrolled.
But don’t worry, it’s not as intimidating as it sounds. I just want
to make sure that you’re at a point in your artistic development
where you can benefit from my advanced material. So I’ll need to see
some pictures of any make-ups you’ve done, or if you haven’t any
make-ups, some examples of your sculpture. To apply, follow the
steps below. PLEASE READ ALL THE STEPS CAREFULLY BEFORE SENDING
ANY PAYMENTS.
STEP 1
Send images of your work via e-mail to Andrew Clement at
course@creativecharacter.com.
Andrew will then forward them to me. For make-ups, I’ll need to see
close-ups; frame the shots from the subjects Adam’s apple to the top
of their head. Make-ups and sculptures should have a light source on
both sides, with one side light stronger than the other side (you
don’t want a flat look). Never use flash. If you use a digital camera
send images which do not exceed 1000 x 1000 pixels, or use film and then scan the photos into your
computer. If you use film, make sure that you use indoor film stock
for indoors, daylight stock for outdoors. Along with your images,
you may send a short e-mail telling me about your arts background.

STEP 2
I’ll take a look at your submissions and get back to you within
2 weeks. If you are accepted, go on to STEP 3. If I feel that you’re
not yet ready for the Advanced Course, I may advise you to take my
BASIC 3-D COURSE, which is designed to help beginners acquire the
basic skills needed to produce quality prosthetic make-ups.
STEP 3
Once I've accepted you, you can either purchase the entire
Course for $1,995 U.S. plus shipping, or one volume at a time for
$665 U.S. plus shipping.
Volume 1 includes lessons
1-9 plus the color booklet and reference photos for sculpture.
Volume 2 includes lessons 10-19 plus the DVD.
Volume 3 includes all updates and indexes.
When we send your acceptance
email, it will have a link to PayPal, a secure site.
Step 4
Carefully read the PLEDGE and DISCLAIMER section, then print
both forms, fill them out and sign them. Fax the completed forms to:
(203) 488-7628. These documents will become part of your permanent
student file.
No course materials will be
sent until we have received your completed Pledge & Disclaimer.
